Raul seeks Lula’s help
According to the Brazilian daily Folha, Raúl Castro has asked Brazil’s President Lula da Silva for help in facilitating private investments and better relations with the U.S. He considers Brazil to be a more convenient ally than Venezuela for that task.
Raúl, in last month’s meeting with Lula, expressed a desire to accelerate the process of political and economic transition.
